Sewer Battle - LIVE

As he turns his attention from Zayn to the guard standing in front of him, the Werebear doesn't see the spear as it hurdles through the air. Nor does he feel much beyond a slight tickle as the weapon pierces his throat and exits the back of his skull. The guard in front of the Werebear becomes blurry, and the beast feels a calming sensation as the rage within him dwindles, and slowly dies. The monstrous creatures eyes glaze over and roll back into his head. For the last time, the colossus lets out a mournful roar, then crashes to the ground with a thud that reverberates around the tight corridor, shaking the statues that line the walls.

The Wererats turn and look in shock at the fallen corpse, disbelief etched in their faces.

Zayn falls to his knees, as the corridor grows strangely silent. Suddenly, a scream erupts from his throat. "BROTHER!! NO!!!"

Turning back to their foes with a viciousness, Wererat 2 savagely claws Guard 1 twice, and the soldier falls to the ground dead.

On the other side of Thrak, Wererat 3 deals 3 damage to Guard 3. Blood seeps out from under the determined soldiers armor.

Wererat 6 deals a savage blow to Guard 4, dealing 10 damage. Miraculously, the guard remains standing, even as his blood splatters onto Riardon.

Wererat 7 slices Sov through his armor, dealing 4 damage. Sov braces himself, while all around him he sees his men beginning to falter.

I give a potion of healing to guard #3 and attack wererat #3 with my silver war pick, dealing 9 damage

I yell to the guard as I hand him the potion, "Disengage and run to Hugo, make him drink it, quickly!"

Guard 5 impales Wererat 6 for 4 damage.
Guard 6 plunges his spear into Wererat 7, and drives the beast to the ground. The wererat does not rise again. Riardon 225xp

Guard 3 catches the potion that is tossed to him by Thrak and disengages from combat, sprinting back towards the fallen body of Hugo. Upon reaching Hugo, Guard 10 grabs the potion, props Hugo's body up, and forces the red liquid down Hugo's throat.

Seconds pass.

Suddenly, there is a faint disembodied sound. It sounds somewhat musical in nature, like a choir, though horribly off key. The sound crescendos, and it is as if many voices are being lifted up in exultant triumph. In the midst of the discordant musical cacophony, a single phrase is sung out, after which the musical medley immediately ends.

"He's back, bitches."

Hugo's eyes snap open.
