I thought we headed into the Crusty Lantern and Hugo bought a round? We discussed the Rat problem in the city, and Thrak pitched his caravan guarding idea.

I’m guessing he’s hinting there’s nothing to do at the rusty lantern.

Midday drinking, about sums up our party haha. But I'm all in on the caravaning idea. Any plans on following up leads on the rat situation?

I kicked one on the way here! I just want everyone to know I’m doing my part.

I do enjoy a good rain shower, but I enjoy it more in nature as opposed to the confines of a rat infested city

But don’t you just love the smell of rotting sewage mixed with the stench of orcs and elves that haven’t bathed in months altogether with the alluring aroma of rat feces!? Ah! What a place, Eh?

On that topic, what are we supposed to actually DO about this apparent rodent problem? I'm a pirate not an exterminator!

I guess we need to find out more information about specifics on the issue, might you know someone in waterdeep who might be well connected with some higher ups who might have some information?

Hugo could you please elaborate on who this person is and why it is you do not much like them? I purpose we do the following..

Lets us seek out some people...shop owners, common towns folk, nobility, etc and see if we can draw a pattern..a hot spot of these rats. Will allow us to more closely focus our efforts. Let us split up for 3 hours time and meet at (@DM fill in a good place we can get a hearty meal and a good pint in town)
- With this time let's venture out into Waterdeep in different directions and see what information and leads we can gather.
- We will then download over supper and draw some conclusions on our findings.

Also sorry DM this may require a few different chains of conversation to happen here.

Lets call this "3 hours of the game" too take roughly 2 days of our real time. (should give us sufficient time to get on here and populate discussion threads and lead generation...or lack there of cough* Hugo cough*)

I don't much like them because they're a dick! They're part of the thieves guild, knows everyone and everything worth knowing in Waterdeep! (and a bit beyond!) But as I said: Dick!

You seem to have a cough there Riardon! You should see a shrink! Darrick knows a gnome that fixed him up good when he broke three fingers punching a shark!

But this is a solid plan! I propose we do what he proposed!

Hugo- I appreciate you looking our for me. I suggest you put you differences aside with this "Dick" and go see what you can learn of these rats from him!

I will head to the north western portion of the town btw...explore those districts.

I lower my reverent hands and opens my eyes to see that my party has abandoned me. "Finally," I think.  
"Hmm, I'll go back to the guild hall and then to the merchant guild to see if they have any information about these accursed rats," I mumble as I gather my scrolls and head out into the damp, dingy, rain soaked streets.

Dorn and Riardon are waiting in Zyloren's house for the return of Derrick and Hugo. Thrak is preparing for his dinner with Nullem.
